No Cost Account Agreement

This agreement covers your RosettaFi No Cost Account: an account CSuite Solutions, LLC (our "Company") gives at no charge, for example to a beta tester, an employee, or as a courtesy. It is short because the arrangement is simple. Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy apply to you as they do to every subscriber; this page adds only what is different for a No Cost Account.

What you get, and what it costs

Your account type is the one named in your invitation. It gives you the plan named in your invitation, for up to the number of accounts that plan allows. It lasts for the term named in your invitation, from the day you activate it, or has no end date if your invitation says complimentary. Your account is provided to you by our Company at no cost during the term. The term may change, or the account may be canceled at any time, by our Company at its sole discretion.

The history rule is the same for every subscriber: you have 30 days after activation to import past statements. You can go back as far as December two calendar years before the calendar year of your activation deadline. So in 2026 you can go back to December of 2024. After that, new months are added as they arrive.

Your account is for you and your household's own accounts. It has no cash value, and it cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for anything else.

What we ask of you

Tell us when something breaks. A short description and the log file is plenty. The log records counts and error codes only — no dollar amounts, security names or account numbers — so sending it does not send us your private information.

If your account type is Beta Tester, we also ask you to use it on your own real brokerage statements and to tell us which brokerage each one came from. Supporting more brokerage statement formats is the purpose of beta testing.

Your statements remain the record

RosettaFi checks every statement against its own totals before saving it, but no software is perfect. If it misreads something or stops working, tell us. The warranty terms in our Terms of Use apply to you exactly as to every subscriber.

Keep your brokerage statements; they remain the authoritative record. Keep your own backups of the database. It lives on your computer, and we cannot restore it for you.

Your data

Everything in our Privacy Policy applies to you, unchanged. Your financial data stays on your computer. We do not receive your database.

Sharing a statement with us is per account or file and completely voluntary, for the purpose of solving a categorization or reconciliation problem. Nothing is sent unless you press the button, and you see exactly what would be sent. If you share one, we use it only to improve how statements are read, and we do not retain it after the broker's statement format is added to our library.

We will never ask you to share your database, and you should be suspicious of anyone claiming to be us who does.

Confidentiality

You may not share the installer or your account with anyone else, and do not publish screenshots of features we have not released. Everything else you are free to talk about, including your honest opinion of the software.

Feedback

If you suggest an improvement and we build it, we own what we build and owe you nothing for it. It does not apply to anything you tell us in confidence about your own affairs.

When your term ends

If your account has an end date, we email you 30 days and again 7 days before it. Our Company may extend your term at no cost to you at its sole discretion. If not, you will be provided with the option to subscribe at the regular price. If you do not subscribe, the account stops on that date. Your data stays where it is — on your computer — and remains readable whether or not you subscribe. Nothing is deleted, locked, or held hostage to a purchase. If you do subscribe, everything you have already imported carries straight over.

If your account has no end date, it continues until you or our Company ends it, each at its sole discretion.

Changing or ending it

Either you or our Company can end a No Cost Account at any time, each at its sole discretion. We will tell you by email first. Email support@rosettafi.com.
